Pond Length ft + (Depth ft x 2) + 2 ft = Liner Length
Pond Width ft + (Depth ft x 2) + 2 ft = Liner Width
Example:
For a finished pond 12' long, 7' wide, and 3' deep,
the liner size you need is:
12' + (3'x 2) + 2' = 20' Long
7' + (3'x 2) + 2' = 15' Wide
This basic formula will work for all pond shapes.

40-60 MIL HDPE
PolyGuard™ LLDPE &HDPE pond liner is an economical, extremely durable pond liner with high tear and puncture resistance and high impact strength. An excellent choice for retention ponds and containment liners

The biggest contributor to pond liner failures are poor, unstable soil conditions that cause rips and tears from rocks and boulders. Shifting soil creates pockets and voids under your pond liner, forcing it to stretch under the weight of the water. Underlayment is manufactured in 5', 10', and 15' widths, and will ship to you in one or more pieces (equal to the total square footage of the pond liner in your liner/geo combo). Simply lay the pieces next to each other and install the pond liner.
